The workshop aims to support novice and experienced faculty members develop increased competence and confidence as facilitators of learning. It will provide them with resources to be more comfortable with twenty-first century technology for classroom management. • Increase knowledge of new Google classroom technology and learning tools.
• Gain knowledge of Free and Open Source Software for better classroom management
Overall Focus: The workshop will provide the basic instructional skills required to teach in an environment based on a framework defined by the Teaching and Learning Center of the University of Liberia.
Multidisciplinary: The workshop will target faculty from across all disciplines at the University of Liberia therefore providing a rich multi-disciplinary context within which to learn about teaching.
Learning Thrust: Workshop participants will work in both large and small group sessions. During the small group sessions participants will simultaneously cover different topics of interest using hands-on applications with the computer.
This workshop is compulsory for all UL faculty members of the University of Liberia. The format of the program is flexible enough to accommodate faculty from all disciplines and experience levels across the four campuses of the University of Liberia.
