Prof. Bilyaminu Suleiman Muhammed, Ph.D. is an accomplished academic specializing in Demography and Industrial Sociology, with robust expertise in Population Studies, Security Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies, and Urban and Gender Studies. Currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Sociology at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, he holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Sociology, M.A. in Population Studies, and B.Sc. (Hons) in Sociology.

His distinguished academic career includes progressive positions at Nasarawa State University since 2006, rising from Assistant Lecturer to full Professor. He has held significant administrative roles including Deputy Dean of Administration in the School of Postgraduate Studies and Assistant Dean in Student Affairs, demonstrating exceptional leadership in academic administration.
