{"id":14232,"date":"2020-07-15T07:52:26","date_gmt":"2020-07-15T07:52:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ul.edu.lr\/?p=14232"},"modified":"2020-07-15T07:52:26","modified_gmt":"2020-07-15T07:52:26","slug":"ul-commences-registration-for-elearning-semester","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ul.edu.lr\/new\/ul-commences-registration-for-elearning-semester\/","title":{"rendered":"UL Commences Registration for eLearning Semester"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Administration of the University of Liberia (UL) announces that registration for the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Second Semester of academic 2019\/2020 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">commences today, July 13, 2020, and will run to August 8, 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Classes for the second semester will begin on July 28, 2020, and will run up to October 3, 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The university encourages all students to complete their payment process during this period as a precondition to have access to the eLearning platform or you will forfeit your entire registration or admission process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In line with the university\u2019s digitization plan, in-person interaction with students is no longer demanded at the Business and Finance Office (BFO) to complete the registration process as students can now use mobile money platforms on Lonestar MTN and Orange Liberia for payment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The university has two accounts at Ecobank that have been interfaced with the eLearning process, which are the Liberian Dollar Account for UL Tuition and Fees #6101350141; and the USD Account for Graduates and Professional School Students #6100064392.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At GT Bank, the Liberian Dollar Account for UL Tuition and Fees is 203300579110; while the US Dollar Account at GT Bank for Graduates and Professional School students is 20300579210. The account numbers at UBA are 5303003001009 (USD) and 5303003001018 (LRD).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There has been absolutely no adjustment in fees for both undergraduates and graduate students. Undergraduate registration remains LD$2,000 fees per semester (excluding college fees); while graduates and professional school students\u2019 fees remain at US$150 and US$75 per credit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The university also informs the public that there is a special discounted program for students in the College of General Studies or Continuous Education Program, allowing them to pay LD$3,000 per semester, down from LD$7,500 which they paid in the past semesters prior to the pronouncement of free tuition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, a special discount has been made for students at the graduate and professional school. Students who have paid a hundred percent of all their arrears for last semester benefit from a 20 percent discount package for this semester.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, students who have paid 75 percent of their total arrears benefit from a 15 percent discount package; while those who paid 50 percent of their arrears will benefit from a 10 percent discount package.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those who paid 25 percent of their arrears will benefit from a five percent discount package.
