The Administration of the University of Liberia (UL) announces with regret, the sad death of the late Assistant Prof. Dr. John M. Sellu, former Dean of the David A. Straz-Sinje Technical and Vocational College, University of Liberia.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Sellu died at the St. Joseph Catholic Hospital on April 20, 2023, following a period of illness. Following his service as Dean of the David A. Straz-Sinje Technical and Vocational College, Dr. Sellu returned to the William V. S. Tubman College of Education, University of Liberia where he remained in active service in Educational Management until his death.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The late Assistant Prof. Sellu was a highly qualified individual. He earned a Ph.D. degree in Educational Management and M.Ed. degree in Educational Administration.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He served in many senior-level positions in the education system in Liberia, including Dean of the David A. Straz-Sinje Technical and Vocational College at UL, Coordinator of the Agricultural Education program in the William V.S. Tubman College of Education, and Director of the Kakata Rural Teacher Training Institute (KRTTI).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He provided expertise in areas of Educational Management, Administration and Supervision, Agricultural Education, and closely related disciplines at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the College with the transition of all the graduate programs in education under the direct control of the William V.S. Tubman College of Education.<\/div>\n

The UL Administration, Faculty, Staff, and Students extend their deepest sympathy to his family for the irreparable loss and wish the deceased and others who departed this world, everlasting peace and light perpetual shine on them.<\/div>\n
