The University of Liberia is deeply saddened to announce the passing of <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Professor<\/strong>: Florence Serena Blyden<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1942 – 2025 <\/p>\n\n\n\n At the St Joseph\u2019s Catholic Hospital Monrovia, Liberia, on Thursday, 29th<\/sup> January 2025, at 3:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Funeral Arrangements are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wake-Keeping<\/strong>: There will be no wake-keeping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Memorial Service & Burial: (February 28, 2025), the body will be transported from the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Home to the University of Liberia Main Campus; thereafter, to Effort Baptist Church in Paynesville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Interment: Will take place ( March 1st<\/sup>, 2025) at the JCN Howard Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She is survived by: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sister: <\/strong> Bindu Blyden (Aka Evangeline Thompson)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Brother-in- law<\/strong>: J. Eustace Smith, Snr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nieces\/Nephews:<\/strong> Lorraine Lamptey & Children, J. Eustace Smith, Jnr & Family, T.C. Smith & Family, Lex Wa Taylor & Family, Curtis H. Taylor & Family, Vinolia Y. Taylor & Son, Cerrillel Nassau & Family, Parquita Nassau & Family, Garmann Dennis & Children, S.
