Over 9000 Candidates Sit UL 2022 Second Undergraduate Entrance
Over 9000 candidates have sat the University of Liberia (UL) decentralised 2022 Second Entrance and Placement Exam administered on Saturday, November 5, 2022, in Monrovia, Zwedru, Ganta, Voinjama, Buchanan, Tubmanburg, and Sinje.
The Paper-based Entrance Exam for the Undergraduate Colleges, Straz Sinje, and the College of General Studies was administered at all of the five designated locations across the country on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
During the entrance exam, many students who were interviewed across various centres, expressed confidence in their performances and said they were sure of making a pass.
The University of Liberia usually offers applicants past exam booklets upon payment of their entrance registration fees, and this tradition has been helping a lot of candidates to prepare adequately and make a pass.
At William V.S. Tubman High School in Sinkor, Shadrach Kolie, Jr., one of the candidates, explained that he was confident of coming out successfully.
He said he is a graduate of the Matadii Baptist High School in Sinkor, and hopes to pass the entrance to study Geology at the University of Liberia.
“My dream is to do Geology at UL when I come out successfully. The first test was Math, and it was not bad. I have confidence that I will pass,” said Kollie.
Student Patrick Neh, from the Calvary Baptist High School in Fiamah, Sinkor, explained that he loves UL because it’s the country’s own institution of higher learning.
He said he hopes to study Biology and Chemistry at UL because documents from the University are acceptable externally.
Felecia Kpabar from Norwai Larteh High School in Jacob Town also expressed her love for UL, and praised the examiners for administering the test smoothly.
Princess Thomas, a candidate from F. Sham Faith Girls Academy in Soul Clinic, Waynesville, said she wants to do nursing at UL.
“I chose UL because it’s free and I don’t have money. I have confidence that I will make a pass. The relationship between examiners and candidates was okay,” said Princess.
Earlier from Monday, October 31, 2022, and Tuesday, November 1, 2022, the University administered optional digital undergraduate entrance for the 2022 second entrance in the computer labs on Fendall Campus due to the success of the first digital undergraduate entrance during the first exam.
The Aptitude Tests for Graduate and Professional Schools began on Monday, November 7, 2022, and will run up to Saturday, November 12, 2022. These rolling digital tests will be conducted in Montserrado ONLY. Each attempt requires a separate payment and confirmation.
Payment can be made via bank deposit at EcoBank, UBA, and GT Bank (account numbers are available at these banks). MobileMoney (0555506334) is also available as an option for payment of registration fees.
