There are eighteen thousand, seven hundred and fifty three students studying at the University of Liberia. Most of these students are young, coming directly from high school. Others are men and women who enroll with define professional goals, seeking and advanced education for self-improvement.
The University seeks to provide for its students and faculty an environment for learning and dedication in search of truth. It believes that the University experience is not solely the preparation for something to come in the future, but includes the development of responsible citizenship here and now. The Office of Student Affairs assists students, individually and in groups, to effectively adjust to the rigor of the University and to fully participate in activities designed to enhanced personal growth and development. It also serves as a supervision unit for the activities of recognized student organizations and the Student Government.
The Office of Student Affairs can be found in the Academic Complex, Fendall Campus , and in the Harvey S. Firestone Building,( Firestone Quadrangle.) The Associate Vice President/Dean of Students office and other offices are always available for consultation on student’s problems regardless of their nature, you should feel free to request advice and assistance. This office is available at all times to help each student make adjustment to benefit his total educational experience at the University.
To meet this end, the Office of Student Affairs coordinates the dissemination of general University student requirements, the campus activities of students, guidance and counseling program.
