The Administration of the University of Liberia (UL) informs Students, Faculty, Staff and the public of an extended break in observance of the 174th Independence Day celebration of the Republic of Liberia.

The break begins Friday, July 23, 2021 and ends on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.

Announcing the break at the end of a virtual session of Faculty Senate on Thursday, July 22, 2021, UL Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Moses M. Zinnah, said classes will resume effective Wednesday, July 28, 2021. He assured students and faculty that upon the resumption of classes on Wednesday the ongoing maintenance of the Moodle E-Learning platform would be finished and all associated technical glitches would be resolved.

Dr. Zinnah also urged members of the UL family to celebrate cautiously during this extended break while spending time with family and friends by heeding to all of the health protocols knowing that the country is still battling a new wave of Coronavirus contagion.

In a related development, the University of Liberia congratulates its President, Prof. Rev. Dr. Julius Julukon Sarwolo Nelson, Jr., on being selected as the 174th Independence Day National Orator.
